Bloom Dead Sea FAQ
The Dead Sea is the world’s largest source of minerals credited with improving the skin’s appearance. Minerals such as Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium and Calcium are essential to supporting the skin’s own processes. With age and our modern lifestyle, the level of minerals in our skin declines. That is why people from all over the world have sought the benefits of the Dead Sea for skin vitality and youthfulness: Its water is made of 34 percent solid minerals – ten times more than any other body of water in the world. Combined with other wonders of the lowest place on earth, such as purifying mud, invigorating salts and powerful desert plants, we embrace our natural environment and aim to transport you on your very own journey to the Dead Sea.

Bloom comes to you from the Holy Land, from the Dead Sea, which is the lowest point on earth (400 m below sea level), the world’s largest natural beauty parlor and the saltiest sea in the world (about 32% concentration). Its water contains more than 25 various types of minerals and trace elements.
The Dead Sea is the lowest body of water on the surface of Earth. In the mid-20th century the surface level of the lake was some 1,300 feet (400 metres) below sea level. Human activities have led to a precipitous drop in the water level, and by the mid-2010s the lake level had reached about 1,410 feet (430 metres) below sea level.
The Dead Sea’s extreme salinity excludes all forms of life except bacteria. Fish carried in by the Jordan or by smaller streams when in flood die quickly. Apart from the vegetation along the rivers, plant life along the shores is discontinuous and consists mainly of halophytes (plants that grow in salty or alkaline soil).
The Dead Sea receives nearly all its water from the Jordan River, which flows from the north into the lake.
The Dead Sea is a landlocked salt lake between Jordan and Israel in southwestern Asia.
The waters of the Dead Sea are extremely saline (salty). This saline water has a high density that keeps bathers buoyant.
